Job Purpose

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the performance of all assigned duties by the Maintenance Manager including a wide range of duties that will support manufacturing's day-to-day operation at Hunting Energy Services - Trenchless location. These duties will include, but not be limited to:

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to help ensure the protection of all plant employees and visitors
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Notify management of any potential equipment issues or other noted abnormalities
• Responsible for utilizing the Tagout / Lockout program
• Strive to always improve Safety, Quality, and Production

• Understanding of safe operations and desire to work injury free
• Experience working with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment a plus
• Proficient in basic math and measurement techniques
• Has a good work ethic
• Ability to read prints
• Display a strong desire to learn with initiative and interest
• Ability to get along with others
• Report to work on time
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• 2-year technical degree or any other related certifications or training is a plus.
• 1 year of maintenance experience within manufacturing environment or other related fields
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces in and around machinery.
• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
