Job Summary:
The Commercial P&C Underwriter is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and underwriting commercial property and casualty risks in accordance with company guidelines and risk appetite.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite new and renewal submissions for commercial property and casualty insurance products.
• Determine risk acceptability, coverage terms, and pricing within delegated authority.
• Analyze loss history, financials, property inspections, and industry trends to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and insureds to drive business growth and retention.
• Ensure underwriting documentation and file integrity meet internal and regulatory compliance standards.
• Contribute to product development and underwriting guidelines as needed.

Qualifications

• Louisiana P&C License at a minimum

Total Compensation range (Base plus Bonus)

• Base salary plus up to 10% bonus
