Ebonys Beauty Hair and Skin Care Customer Service and Social Media Representative

Ebonys Beauty Hair and Skin Care is seeking a highly motivated and professional Customer Service and Social Media Representative to support our growing brand. This dual-role position plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless customer experience across both in-store and digital platforms, while also representing our voice and values on social media. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, creative, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, in-person, and social media in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Resolve product, order, or shipping issues efficiently while upholding brand standards.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up logs using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with fulfillment and retail teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Social Media Engagement and Content Support

  • Monitor and engage with customers and followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social channels.
  • Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions promptly while maintaining the brand voice.
  • Support content development by capturing behind-the-scenes moments, customer testimonials, and promotional content.
  • Track engagement metrics, customer trends, and online feedback to inform strategy.
  • Coordinate giveaways, product launches, and influencer partnerships in collaboration with the marketing team.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience (retail, eCommerce, or corporate environment).
  • 1+ year of experience managing or contributing to brand social media platforms.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Shopify, Canva, and customer service tools like Zendesk or HubSpot.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Passion for natural beauty, skincare, or wellness industries is a plus.
Schedule and Work Environment

Part-time or full-time availability (weekend and evening flexibility may be required). Hybrid role: Must be able to work onsite at our Lafayette storefront when needed.
