Monarch Investment is actively HIRING an Apartment Maintenance Technician at Acadian Point Apartments in Lafayette, LA. This is a full-time and permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package and quarterly bonus structure. HVAC experience preferred.

*Must have valid drivers license for this role, be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

PAY: $21-$23.00 an hour$100/week on-call bonus, up to $3,000+ a year in quarterly bonuses and $500 a year in tool reimbursement

SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5 on-call (1x every 4th week)

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
  • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Maintaining property grounds
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of HVAC and EPA certification preferred
  • 6+ months' experience in maintenance or equivalent
  • Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Have good verbal and written communication
  • Experience with pools, CPO certification preferred
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
