Project Manager

Location: Abbeville, LA

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for client/customer communication and the on-time/on-delivery budget of their projects, as well as provide guidance to all supporting departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Project planning: oversee projects throughout the project life cycle from estimating phase through closeout.
• Project reporting: create reports for internal and external stakeholders including financial reports, schedules, progress reports, HSE reports, etc.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients; communicate changes as they arise.
• Provide clients and internal project disciplines (Quality, HSE, Operations, Accounting) with potential solutions when issues arise.
• Serve as liaison between client and internal disciplines. Provide drawings, specifications, work packs to fabrication shops and 3rd party suppliers.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service support.
• Manage multiple jobs/clients simultaneously.
• Organize and maintain documentation via SharePoint.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in a fabrication Project Management role.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
• Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
