Innovation Manager

The Innovation Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the innovation initiatives within the organization. The role plays a key part in transforming traditional energy practices by identifying emerging trends, customer needs, and market opportunities, and translating them into actionable innovation strategies. The Innovation Manager will oversee the entire innovation pipeline, from ideation and concept development to prototyping, testing, and successful implementation of new products, services, processes, and business models. They will foster a culture of innovation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and establish metrics to measure the impact and success of innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities include assisting in defining and aligning on innovation goals with overall business objectives and long-term strategic plans, conducting comprehensive market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities, developing and maintaining an innovation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic impact and feasibility, overseeing the entire innovation lifecycle, evaluating and refining ideas, developing and implementing training programs and tools to enhance innovation capabilities across teams, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of innovation initiatives, acting as a liaison between different teams, establishing key performance indicators to track the progress and impact of innovation initiatives, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on innovation performance, demonstrating measurable returns on investment from innovation efforts, identifying potential funding sources and incentives for innovation projects, allocating resources effectively to support innovation initiatives, assisting in the development and managing the company's innovation strategy aligned with operational goals, safety standards, and energy transition targets, monitoring global trends and competitor innovation strategies in oil, gas, and alternative energy, and supporting change management efforts to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within technical teams.
