Job Summary:

The Stocker is responsible for maintaining organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing merchandise displays to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. This role includes unloading and unpacking incoming shipments, sorting products, and placing them in the appropriate departments, on shelves, in bins, or in storage areas according to company procedures. The Stocker may perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management as needed. In addition, the position requires providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with questions or locating products, and working closely with management and fellow team members. Other duties may be assigned to support overall store operations.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
2. Training and Experience: Previous stocking, warehouse, retail, or inventory experience is preferred but not required.
3. Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time-management skills; good communication and customer service abilities; ability to follow procedures and pay close attention to detail; and ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
4. Physical Demands: This position requires significant physical effort, including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise; stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods; and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
