Overview Acadian Total Security has an immediate opening for a part-time Video Analyst at our Lafayette, LA location.Job Summary: Verify and dispatch on video security alarms for residential and commercial customers.Responsibilities Monitors incoming alarm signals using audio and video, verifying and dispatching security alarms for residential and commercial clientsAnswers phone calls from end users and dealersAnswers incoming phone calls and takes messages for dealers and end usersHandles any special projects and dealer/end user issues specifically requested by the Operators SupervisorWorks with computer automation software to efficiently handle alarmsDocument accurate, concise, detailed, factual and meaningful reports of events handledAssists the alarm center anytime there is a natural disaster or emergencyFollows protocols for extinguishing Fire Rover firesAssist the alarm center with Noonlight video verification alertsQualifications High School diploma or GEDMust possess and maintain a clear criminal historyACES management training certification is considered a plusA background in telecommunications, criminal justice, security alarm dispatching, CCTV alarm installation or law enforcement is preferredMust be PC literate and some familiarity with MS Word and ExcelStrong organizational skills; multi-task orientedAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceInterpersonal Requirements Maintain social, ethical and organizational normsAchieve accomplishment of all task details, no matter how smallMaintain good personal motivation; develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and resultsMust have a sense of urgency for all work performedAbility to work under the pressure of meeting strict deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Location Lafayette, LAPosition Type Part-timeWe offer comprehensive insurance benefits for full-time employees, including Medical, Dental, Vision coverages, along with 401(k) and ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), and Vacation and Sick time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
